Pussy Cat Lover. Acrylic on Canvas.
In between house hunting, surveyor visits and junk-sorting, I’ve gone back to my girly roots. It’s been a long time since I made any pretty girls so figured it was time to re-visit, and it has felt most refreshing! Hand drawn and painted with fine-liner and acrylic paint on 6″ x 4″ box canvas – I am thinking of starting a new range similar to her. Fishy Collage Detail
Ever had the feeling that you should sometimes just give up on something? Well, that’s exactly how this painting went for me. There is a figure (a fisherman) who is the main subject of this painting but it went so wrong I feel a little embarrassed to show it so have cropped him out, ha ha!! Read more…

The Bradford Lot!
The Extended Bradford Lot!
So, it has been Easter. I’ve done very little on the art front since it has been school holidays and I have had my little gremlins to tend to. It has been a welcome break to not have to rush all the time and it has been a real pleasure to spend time with friends whom we have not seen for a while. It will probably be the last time we see some of our Yorkshire friends before our move to Derbyshire/Notts, although we still don’t have a date yet, and still don’t know where we are going! If all goes smoothly it will come into fruition probably within the next month. Read more…

Pretties on the Catwalk made by 10 and 11 Year Olds.
Well, just as we hoped – our viewer came back for a second look this weekend and has fantastically made an offer on our house! Now SOLD (Subject to Contract)! I am thrilled because as I mentioned we were down in Nottingham again this weekend visiting friends at the Steiner School and being there again just confirmed for me how much I want for my kids there asap. There is such Spirit put into everything that goes on there. Read more…
